1907: Servant of God Teresa Pantellini

She died at the age of 29 and was a professed religious for 4 years. Theresa was a pupil of the salesian sisters at Milan. After her mother’s death, she decided to become a nun. After only four years of exemplary religious life, she died a holy death at Rome. A few months earlier Don Bosco had appeared to her to cure her, but she politely directed him to a nearby room where a sick sister was eager to be cured. This other sister was in fact cured. Pantellini cause was introduced in 1944. (cfr. “Boll. Sal.” 1957, p.324)
