1883: Silver medal for Don Bosco

Don Bosco gave a talk on Patagonia to the “Geographical Society” of Lyons (France). He knew many details, thanks to the dream he had a few days after the death of Luigi Colle (+ April 3, 1881). In the dream the saint flew, along with Luigi, over that region and the latter pointed out to him its rich mineral resources: iron, coal, oil etc. Three years later the “The Geographical Society” gave the lecturer a silver medal (cfr. Dec. 19, 1886). (cfr. MB XVI, 69)
